JohnMichael (JM) Zervoulei has been working in the film and video industry since the mid 1990's.   A native New Yorker, he spent his early childhood years around his parents' soho jazz club where a respect for the creative process was instilled and nurtured.  Later, with 40 Acres & A Mule Productions across the street from his Brooklyn high school, he landed his first job as a PA on the set of Spike Lee's "Clockers" and never looked back.  



JM went on to become a professional editor and videographer in the 2000's and formed JMZ Productions in 2008.  The company offers specialty freelance services in production (Director, Camera, or Sound) or post-production (editing, sound-mix, color correction, or animation) for any level film, TV, or web projects already in production.  Likewise, it is also a fully capable production house that can produce, write, shoot, and edit any size film or video project our clients are on the market for.  The company has done considerable work in the fields of advertising, corporate video, documentary, and music (videos and live events).  Crew and equipment rates are available upon request.
